I called this a Simple Note Card but is it really? Well it is simple because it is one dimension, no layers and no embellishments card. For those of you who know me, this is not so simple. I wanted to create these note cards to have on hand to send thank you notes. The Stamparatus is a fantastic tool for these cards. The Painted Harvest is an awesome watercolor image that I just love and is stamped on Vanilla note cards. The images are very easy to layer and create.
I used Crushed Curry, Cajun Craze and Soft Suede for the flower and Pear Pizzazz and Old Olive for the leaves. Using the Stamparatus made this card quick and easy. I used a sentiment from the set but I also created a few with a sentiment from You Always Deliver. Shown below in the list of items I used to create these cards.
Here is a video showing you some tips to using the Stamparatus positioner (Video available on blog only). HELPFUL TIP: What I forgot to mention is that I found it easier to align the leaves by doing the dark ink first. Then when you have the lighter ink on the stamp, you can see through it to stamp over the dark.
The second card was created with Beautiful Friendship. Wow, another beautiful watercolor card. On this card I used Mango Melody and Pumpkin Pie for the larger flower and Grapefruit Grove and Poppy Parade for the smaller flowers. The leaves are Soft Sea Foam and Garden Green. The sentiment is from Beautiful Bouquet. I love the font of these sentiments and just had to have this set. The size of these sentiments are perfect too!
The note cards measure 5 x 3 1/2″ and come 20 note cards and envelopes to a package. These are perfect to have ready to go when you need a quick little thank you note. With every order I will send a thank you card. I’d love to send one to you too. I hope you enjoyed these cards. Thank you for stopping by.
