This Butterfly Bouquet sneak Peek is a nice surprise. I am in the middle of making 40 cards and have only used up one package of paper with some to spare. The paper in person is gorgeous.
Here is a photo of the multiple cards that I made.
Measurements & Tips
The cardbase is 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 2 1/8″ and 4 1/4″.
Basic White inside panel 4″ x 5 1/4″.
Top Solid cardstock panel is 3 3/8″ x 4 5/8″.
DSP side panel is 1 7/8″ x 5 1/4″ and the top panel is 3 1/4″ x 4 1/2″.
You can use the same DSP or change it up with a more solid looking DSP and a more colorful piece.
The colors in the DSP are: Basic Black, Bermuda Bay, Blushing Bride, Calypso Coral, Just Jade, Magenta Madness, Mango Melody, Mint Macaron, Misty Moonlight, Poppy Parade, So Saffron and Basic White.
Funny thing…. I used a lot of Coastal Cabana for the card base. I liked the look so make sure you always look outside the listed colors for a similar color that can still be used.
The Stitched So Sweetly Dies are my favorite dies and I had fun playing with these on these Butterfly Bouquet cards. You can see where I cut the top layer and added an “in between” layer to add more color. The sentiment comes from Butterfly Gala.
Here is a diagram of how I cut the paper and what is left over.
Here is another angle to see how the card is folded.

Could you give us the measurements that you used for the DSP? These cards are gorgeous! It is hard for me to maximize the 6×6 paper packs. Thanks!

Thank you so much for the measurements! I swear I saw a picture somewhere of all 40 cards spread out and they looked fabulous. Could you please add that picture here? I have searched your blog and instagram and I can’t seem to find it.
