The California sunshine is really hot right now so I have been enjoying some pool time. This cute little Drink Up The Sunshine, My Favorite Things stamp set, is just too cute. I was excited to use some printed paper on this card. Like the jungle card that I made, I decided to try and use some more printed paper on my cards. Like most card makers I do hoard the printed paper. The back panel is from Graphic 45 and the pool water is a single sheet I purchased from Scrapbook.com.
The Swimming Pool Die-namics die creates an impression to look like tile. I took a C5 and C3 Copic Marker and colored the outline. If you look closely, I also colored the inside of her float and by her arm, where her drink is. The B05 Copic and the colorless Copics were used to color inside the float and arm to look like the water background. I also added a little Journey Glaze to the pool, her eyes and her float.
Here is another funny sentiment from Rubbernecker Stamps, called Cards On Time. I thought this was a perfect inside sentiment for my sister in law
