This card was so punny! I found Rubbernecker Stamps at the Santa Clara, CA, Scrapbook Expo a couple of weeks ago and spent a little time in their booth. They had so many fun things. One of the things I really like is that you can purchase individual stamps. For example, I could have purchased just the chicken coop or just the chicken. The sentiments are also individual. There are so many time you find a sentiment that you love but not too crazy about the rest. This is a perfect solution. I really had fun with the colors and I always love using my copic markers. You can use what markers or pencils that you have. I think this would look fantastic with watercolors too.
I used copics on the chicken coop and the chicken. On the background I took a Life Changing brush (listed below with all of the other supplies I used) and the Distress ink pads and distressed the back panel a bit, using Scattered Straw on the whole panel and Vintage Photo around the edges. The barbed wire background stamp is stamped with the Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide pad.
I added a bit of Journey Glaze on the “Chicken Coop” sign. I hope you enjoyed this card as much as I did. More punny cards to come.
As always, I do appreciate your support by shopping in the Marcie’s Mall found at the top of my blog. If you have any questions or need any help, please let me know how I can help.
