Dino Days is such a cute set and the designer paper is awesome. The colors in the designer paper are for both boys and girls and even a unisex card. I decided to create one of each to show you the versatility this set has. When I showed each to my granddaughter and her reaction to the boy card was “Oh that’s cute for a boy but I don’t really like it.” I then said “what about this one?”, and showered her the pink one. She said “Oh I really like that one.” So it is all about color sometimes. I think I am going to take some pearls and create a little necklace or even earrings.
I decided to create a fancy fold and turn it sideways so they could set it up. As I have mentioned before, I am trying to use more DSP (Designer Series Paper). This really adds a lot of color to the cards.
The other stamp set I used was the Waterfront stamp set. I circled the image below. Adding gravel to the ground below the dinosaur made the scene more realistic. I just love this saying with his tiny little arms. This card would be so cute as a Birthday card or just a Hi or I miss you card.
For the circle on his belly, I just punched an oval, attached it to the sticky part of a post-it and cut the oval down, I thought it really added something. I also used the scalloped rectangle from Stitched So Sweetly to add as a panel behind the dinosaur. I love how vibrant the colors are in this bundle and how cute the cards come out.
Thanks for stopping by. I hope you enjoyed these cute little guys. As always, if you want to check out any of the products I used, I have them listed below.
