I was asked to teach a class at a retreat this month and this Forever & Always card is what I am going to teach. The card has two different ways to use the Gilded Leafing and the video will show you both ways.
Measurements and Instructions
Crumb Cake cardbase is 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
Very Vanilla is 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″
Blushing Bride is 4″ x 5 1/4″
I used the larger flower and stamped with Crumb Cake ink and the smaller flower was stamped with Versamark and heat embossed with Heat & Stick powder. Add the Gilded Leafing to the whole panel and remember it will stick more to the Heat and Stick powder. It will also stick to some spots that may still be wet from the Crumb Cake ink.
The background of the word “Always” is cut with Crumb Cake and the word is Basic White THICK paper with Adhesive Sheets attached on one side. I tried it on two sides but it was too thick to cut because the waxy paper makes it difficult to cut all the way through with the thick cardstock.
Glue the word to the background image before you adhere your Gilded Leafing. This makes the word more stable and easier to adhere the leafing.
