Forever Greenery Suite creates a fun card with a lot of fun elements and texture

You just can’t go wrong with the Forever Greenery Suite.  This suite has so many different elements and makes it easy to create stunning projects every time.

Measurements

Coastal Cabana – 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
Purple Posy – 2 1/8″ x 5 1/4″, embossed with the Greenery Embossing Folder
(You could choose to cut 3/4″ x 4″ Purple Posy embossed to add to the bottom of the inside of the card)
Gold Foil – 2 pieces cut 1/4″ x 5 1/2″
Whisper White 4″ x 5 1/4″, embossed with the Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder (add the splatter stamp BEFORE you emboss)

The ink colors are: Pretty Peacock, Coastal Cabana, Old Olive, Granny Apple Green, and Purple Posy blends.

Techniques

The ribbon is from the Forever Greenery Trim Combo pack .  The cotton ribbon was colored with the dark Purple Posy blend pens.  The alcohol markers dries pretty quickly but I would suggest you do this at the beginning of your project so it dries.

The sentiment is from the Lovely You stamp set punched out with the Everyday Label punch.  A trick I like to use is when a punch has a flat end on top or the sides.  This allows you to cut a label in half and adhere it on the back of the sentiment stamped on white.  This gives the sentiment a little color in the background and makes the sentiment pop.

The gold trim is one of my favorite pieces in the suite.  In the video you will see the easiest way to add this fun element to a project.  Hopefully you can see it on this photo below.

 

There are so many great cards out there with the Forever Greenery Suite.  A helpful tip that I did is make a lot of leaves in the colors you like all at one time.  This way you can create a fabulous card in no time at all.
