Today I am sharing these fun Magnolia Cards I am making for Mother’s Day. But first I want to say that I hope everyone is healthy and staying safe. I have been doing what I can and helping by staying home and making masks. However, I have really missed stamping. Today I got to stamp!!! Before I became a Stampin’ Up Demonstrator I purchased the Good Morning Magnolia set. I just loved everything from the stamps to the designer series paper.
For the first card, I used the sentiment stamp from Timeless Tulip, another awesome stamp set. I liked that the sentiment was smaller and fits perfectly using the Rectangular Stitched Dies. The background is stamped with Crumb Cake ink on Crumb Cake paper. The sentiment on the card on the right was from Strong and Beautiful stamp set with the Ornate Layers dies. The gorgeous paper on both cards is from the Magnolia Lane designer paper. All supplies are listed below, including the colors of blends that were used.
My upline Sherry Wayt created the Lovely Lipstick card and I just fell in love with it and had to CASE (Copy and Share Everything) it and add it to my batch of Mother’s Day cards.
This card also has the border die used on the Lovely Lipstick and Blushing Bride papers on the back. I cut the larger paper, the Blushing Bride, at 5″ x 4″ and the front paper, the Lovely Lipstick, at 4.75″ x 4″. Slide the border to the very edge and that will create the perfect alignment for the two pieces to fit together. This allows the perfect spacing for the “Happy Mother’s Day” sentiment across the bottom of the card base.
The current catalog is coming to an end. I really think this set is a must have! I love large bold stamps like this. Thank you for stopping by. I hope you enjoyed these cards and they give you some inspiration. Stay safe and keep crafting.
