Oh So Ombre Art Gallery

Yes another Art Gallery card with the Oh So Ombre Sale-a-bration paper this time.

Measurements

I used one 6″ x 6″ sheet of the Oh So Ombre DSP for the whole card.  Cut the paper down to 5 1/2″ x 3 3/4″, leaving a 1/2 strip of paper to go on the inside of the card.  You can choose either color to add to the inside. With the remainder of the paper, cut 2- 1/2″ pieces to adhere on the top and bottom of the front of the card.  Finish the layers with the larger piece on top of the two 1/2″ pieces.  This way you can show the two different colors.  The main card and the one I did on the video is Blackberry Bliss and Granny Apple Green.

 

This card is Bermuda Bay and Rococo Rose.  These two cards show all four colors available in the Oh So Ombre paper pack.

Colors

I created two flowers.  One in Blackberry bliss and one in Rich Razzleberry.  Stamp off for the larger and first image and then put a first generation stamping for the smaller darker image.  I prefer to add both layers of color even if you decide to use the Versamark and Gilded Gold Foil.  These flowers are so forgiving and you don’t have to align them just perfect.  By doing the darker color before the gold you add another layer to the flower.

I used Granny Apple Green for the leaves.  I chose Happy Birthday for both of these cards because you can never have too many birthday cards.  I added Pastel Pearls from the Hydrangea Hill Suite.
