Warm and Toasty Rudolph was such a fun and easy card to create. This card would make anyone smile. The Heartwarming DSP really makes the card a simple card with so much color.
This card has a lot of layers but remember to die cut out the centers of the layers not shown. This helps the card not weigh so much and help with the thickness.
This card was so fun and easy to create. Make sure you read the helpful tips before you start creating.
Measurements
Cardbase
Real Red 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
Pear Pizzazz 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″ – Cut with the #4 from the outside Rectangle Stitched Die
DSP 4″ x 5 1/4″
with Rectangle Stitched dies:
Real Red 3rd die from the largest – cut the center out with a die to use on another card (see photo below).
Pear Pizzazz – use the 4th from the largest (cut out the center of the panel listed above)
If you want to use measurements instead of dies:
Real Red 3″ x 4 1/8″
Pear Pizzazz 2 7/8″ x 4″ – embossed with the Winter Snow Embossing Folder
Smaller layer panels can be used with the Rectangle Stitched dies or cut with a trimmer. I prefer using the dies because they add a little character with the stitched finish, however I thought of this AFTER I created this card. I use the dies in the video. From the outside in, I used die # 3 and 4.
Tag Layer
Whisper White 2″ x 3 1/4″ – Stamp Reindeer on this image with Black Memento ink
DSP 2″ x 3″1/2″ – I like to make the DSP a little longer so it shows more of the fun print.
Color
Stampin’ Blends alcohol markers
Bronze- color the antlers and hoofs.
Both Cinnamon Cider blends to color the reindeer.
Real Red blends to color the ribbon/bow.
Tips
I have my DSP Cut to 4″ x 6″ so when I got the DSP down to 5 1/4″ keep the remaining 3/4″ for the trim on the inside of the card. This DSP is so fun and every piece matches. You can choose any of the patterns for the flap on the envelope.
Use the Scalloped Tag Topper punch to create the scalloped top. Because the card is a “cute and fun” card, I tied the ribbon in a bow at the top vs. adding the trim as a tag topper.
I used the Itty Bitty Christmas stamp set. I liked the fun font of the “lots of love at Christmas” sentiment. It fit perfectly along the bottom of the tag on the top of the card.

Video
The video on my blog shows the creating of this card and I used the Rectangle Stitched dies. The photo on this blog is when I cut the images out. I wanted to show that you can still create the card if you don’t have the dies. You can always substitute another die or product if you don’t have the exact same products.
I hope you enjoyed this sweet card. It really is a quick and simple card to recreate.
