This card was so much fun and I think can be created with a multitude of different images or stamp sets. I love it with the Freezin’ Fun bundle.
This card was such a fun card to create. It was like creating a story. I stamped a lot of images and colored them first. Knowing I would use the trees as a filler I stamped three sets of them.
I choose two different DSP designs from the Snowflake Splendor Designer Series Paper. The two outside prints are the same and the two inner pieces the same. Yes I did add a piece on the back and added a piece of Whisper White for the handwritten sentiment and to sign the card.
Measurements
Cardbase – 4 1/4″ x 9 1/2″, score at 4 3/4″ (The cardbase is cut shorter so the tags can be added and still fit into an envelope)
Tags – 2″ x 3 1/2″ (2) – cut to this size then punch with Scalloped Tag Topper
DSP – 4 pieces (2 different patterns) – 4″ x 4 1/2″
Whisper White (snow) 2″ x 4 1/2″ (4) – Embossed with the Old World Paper embossing folder
Whisper White (back signature piece) – this size depends on if you have a stamp you will be adding to the back of your card.
Instruction
Create a scene on the inside using the Freezin’ Fun characters or whichever stamp set you choose.
Add the tag pieces to each side in the middle and aligned with the bottom of the opening so you can slip ribbon through the opening to close the card.
Adhere the DSP on top of the tags and also the front and back.
The shorter whisper white piece was added on the front to create a fold towards you. Glue the flaps inward so that the piece lays flat folded. I figured this out after I did the video but I explain it this way.
Adhere a piece of clear window sheet behind it with the seal on the top “floating” off of his snowboard. Or an image to pop out when you open the card.
