Creating this fun card using Snow Wonder with the Winter Woods really gives a fun misty morning feeling. This vintage snowman is adorable and so easy to color.
Measurements and Directions
- The card base is 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
- Shaded Spruce panel is 4″ x 5 1/4″
- Whisper White is 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″
You need a piece of scratch paper at least 4″ x 2″ to use for snow. I used the new Painted Texture embossing folder but the Old World Paper Embossing Folder makes a great snow image.
The trees in the background are stamped with Smokey Slate ink and are from the Winter Woods stamp set and the small trees with snow on them are from the Snow Wonder are stamped in Shaded Spruce.
Glitter Star Ornaments are so cute to add to a card and I added as a start that the snowman will be putting on the tree. I colored the star with the dark Cinnamon Cider Stampin Blend.
Adding the Holiday Rhinestones to the tree just really makes the card feel like Christmas. I think my favorite part of the card is the Adhesive-Backed Snowflakes.
To give this card that misty morning feeling, I used a blending brush and blended Shaded Spruce and Pretty Peacock around the whole image.
