Happy New Year and Happy Anniversary to us. New Years Day is our wedding anniversary. I had to share the cute card I made for my husband. Both the String of Hearts background stamp and the Peanut Butter sentiment stamp are both from Rubbernecker Stamps. Rubbernecker Stamps have some of the most unique sentiments and stamps. You really should check them out.
I started this card by stamping the sentiment with the Hero Arts Ombre Mermaid ink pad. I stamped once across the top half of the stamp, then on the bottom half. I then used a Clear Pigment ink to emboss the sentiment. The background “squiggle” looking stamp is String of Hearts. It is super cute and I will show it off more the next time I use it. I embossed the Iced Silver embossing power, which is super sparkly.
Once all of the stamping was done I used the Elegant Stitched dies from Penny Black for each panel. I layered it on to the Gina K Sea Glass cardstock. This card was very simple and not your ordinary pink or red Valentine card but I will be recreating this card in a Valentine Day card class. I absolutely love this sentiment.
