I think Brushed Blooms from Stampin’ Up gives the feeling of a mixed media look.
Measurements/Tips
Cardbase is 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
The top layers are 5 1/4″ and then torn just randomly at a position that fits nicely and still show the Basic Black card base.
I created three of each types of leaves. I stamped three with Pear Pizzazz and then used the dies and cut out 3 of the base with Pear Pizzazz and then the veins in Old Olive.
The other colors are Merry Merlot and Blushing Bride. I did stamp off the Merry Merlot on the smaller flower. I did use Stampin’ Markers to color the small flower bud.
Use the Stamparatus to use the larger paint brush image down the page. I love how it evenly spaces when using the Stamparatus.
Using two different threads creates another layer of interest. The 3/16″ Braided Linen Trim is perfect for a card like this because the ends unravel to create a fun look. This paired with the the Forever Greenery Trim Combo gold thread, which also unravels, is a fun combination.
I did take the Memento ink pad and blacked the edges with a little messy look to help give this card a little more mixed media feel.
Don’t forget to finish off the card with a little decorating on the inside panel. I also did the same dots and color on the envelope flap.

The Snail can
Rd is just too cute for words, and the Window card made me wished I had purchased the set. Maybe next time eh?
Thanks. I am loving that window set more than I thought I would.
