The By the Dock Stamp set and the Dockside dies make a great masculine card with a nature feel to it. Pairing this stamp set with the new Plaid Tidings 6″x 6″ DSP really is a great match.
I used the alcohol Stampin’ Blends to color the images. I also used the Hammered Metal Embossing Folder to add a little more texture behind the scene panel. The landscape die I cut three out of whisper white cardstock and color with markers also so it had a more real feel. The jumping frog image I cut out of whisper white also and colored it with the Mossy Meadow blends. I used the dark Mossy Meadow to add dots to look like frog markings then colored the whole image with Light Mossy Meadow. Using the Birch Background Stamp made a subtle water affect. I used a blending brush and added Seaside Spray and Balmy Blue to create the water color.
