I have been anxious to create with the gorgeous Host stamp, Calming Camellia. I wanted a pretty rich color to make the card look elegant. Rich Razzleberry was a perfect choice. There are several great techniques that I used on this card. Using the gorgeous Pretty Flowers embossing folder lightly stamped with Soft Sea foam leaves from the same stamp set really gives this card depth and a lot of detail.
The coloring tools of choice were the Stampin’ Up Watercolor Pencils. I show you my favorite way to use these pencils. It is a quick and easy way, without the mess. I decided to use the Hippo & Friends Dies to pop the flower up on. By stamping the image in black on the Hippo & Friends die and then fussy cutting another image that you colored and popping it up on the stamped image, this creates a great 3D effect.
The crinkle ribbon has Soft Sea Foam Stampin’ Blend on one and I stamped the Camellia large stamp onto another piece to create this fun ribbon.
The label was created with my go-to punch, Everyday Label. This punch seems to fit most sentiments and I think it is a great size. However, on this card I needed something a little smaller so I created it with this punch. I show you how easy it is to make any punch smaller. Don’t forget to lightly stamp the back of the sentiment label to soften the look of the card.
The card just shimmers perfectly with small splatters of Wink of Stella. To finish this card off I added three of the Brushed Brass Butterflies. These are by far one of my favorite embellishments in the mini catalog.

Remodel Update
Big News! The remodeling has begun.
Everything is moved out of my craft room
Temporary Setup. It is a little “fuller” now. Sharing my husband’s office space. Let’s be serious, it is more like he is sharing my space.
The spare bedroom carpet is gone and there are hardwood floors under there. The walls are coming down between the two rooms. This is where the closets are for each room.
Her
Here is a little schematic of what we are thinking. The empty corners will have corner cabinets possibly, haven’t decided but the counters will go all the way around. A much larger TV will go on the closet divider wall. We are considering leaving two doors so that from the hall way it looks aesthetically pleasing and not a big blank wall. This way if we ever sell it is an easy fix to add a partition wall to divide the room up again and with minimal construction. We may block one of the doors from the inside. This is still undecided.
The room will only be 25″ x 11″ so I am using as much space as I can. I decided on a closet like this so I can put my Kallax cabinets inside the closet and still be able to have use of a wall. If I would have had an open closet on the wall there would not be a counter/wall to use. However, I considered a small island but decided against that.
After the video this is what my husband did. He broke through the closets and opened the two rooms. Wow is my house dusty!
