Christmas Cookies and Foil

August 28, 2019 Leave a Comment

Last year I saw these Fresh Baked 1 dies from Tim Holtz and just had to have them.  I didn’t get a chance to use them last year so I had to use them this year.  Once I started creating with the foil I thought along with these cookies, it would make a great card.

I cut the cookies out of Oatmeal Cookie cardstock (one of my favorites).  I used the Altenew Milk Chocolate ink and a dauber and brushed the edges so the cookies look baked.  The frosting is cardstock and I assembled those with double sided adhesive sheets and then added Journey Glaze so they look like frosting.  I popped all of the cookies up on foam squares.  I added a little twine behind the santa to add another layer of interest.  The sentiment is edged in journey glaze and sprinkled with Journey Sparkle Cuts.

I just have to share this photo of the same style card but instead of the Foil Mates I used the Gina K Glimmer Gel.  OMG!  If you enjoy stenciling and want to had some sparkle, this is another amazing product!  She has many colors to choose from.

Details and a video on the foiling are on my Shattered Glass Birthday post.  Please consider purchasing your products through my SHOP.  Your support is greatly appreciated.  All supplies used are listed below.  Thank you for stopping by.
