Perfectly Perfect and Watercoloring

February 24, 2019 2 Comments

This Perfectly Perfect stamp set was so fun to watercolor.  I am still getting the hang of watercoloring but I think the card came out so soft and pretty.  Before I did die cut the flowers, I was hesitant about finishing the card.  Then I remembered someone saying, “once you gut the flowers out and adhere them, it is a whole new look” and I agree.

I used the Altenew watercolor pallet to color the images and create the background, including the splatter.  This was really a fun card to create and I really love the soft colors.  I am still learning about watercoloring and I think the thing I need to remember is to let layers dry!  You will see more watercoloring in the future.

Thanks for stopping by.
