Aloha and Exciting News

March 2, 2020 Leave a Comment

Aloha everyone. First off I want to share my exciting news! I have decided to re-join Stampin’ Up. It has been fun venturing out with another company and doing affiliate links for many of the large companies, however I miss the fellowship of a direct sales company. The women are amazing and I enjoy being apart of that. I also love that SU offers suites. For example, I just used one item in this amazing Tropical Oasis bundle, but I will post all of the items so you can understand what I am saying.

I hope that you will enjoy the fun projects that I will be posting and if I can help you in any way, please let me know. By venturing out, I believe I have expanded my knowledge and techniques. I have learned to go outside the box a lot more than I did before.

Now onto the fun stuff. I am working a big event later this year with a Hawaiian theme. Here is one of my first projects with SU. I actually purchased this and just fell in love with it, which helped me decide to re-join.

The Tropical Oasis Designer Series Paper.  OMG, I love this paper.  I saw these cute shirt svg files on Pinterest and just had to have them.  The file can be found here, it is called Summer Holiday.  You will receive it in the larger format.  You can shrink down the file to fit in an A2 envelope.  I was able to get 4 shirts onto one 12 x 12 DSP sheet of paper.  The double sided print is perfect, as you can see the reverse side shows the trim in a different color.  I chose to use a solid color for the back of the shirts, this allowed the DSP to go further and the trim to pop  I put a little glue under the color and cuffs of the sleeves to lay them down, but just a bit so they looked like they were just laying down.

You can find tiny buttons in the sewing department at a craft store.  They had multi color packages that worked out for this paper pack.  I Hope you give this a try.. Here are a few other photos to show you the different prints and that there is a file cut to go inside of the shirt like a white tshirt to write on.  I think this would be a great masculine birthday card or a Father’s Day Card.

I hope you enjoy this first SU post!  More with this bundle will be coming soon.  Thanks for stopping by.
