Curvy Celebrations for Holidays and More

October 11, 2020 Leave a Comment

The Curvy Celebrations is a fantastic set that makes backgrounds and also main focus pieces.  The sentiments are fantastic and add to the curvy landscape images.  There are two fantastic stamp sets, one holiday and one non-holiday.  The dies go with both stamp sets.

Card #1

The card base measurements are standard.  Card base is 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
The Cherry Cobbler panel is 5 1/4″ x 4″, and the DSP is cut at 3 3/4″ x 4″.

I just eyeballed the bottom solid color panels once I die cut them with the curvy die.

With the card above, I used the Classy Christmas Designer Series Paper.  Die cut three sheets of paper, one of each color, of the same design.  Because it is DSP and not cardstock I was able to cut all three at the same time.  I layered the three colors in the suite on the bottom to just show an edge of each color using the Sahara Sand on the top to add the sentiment.

The easiest way to create the wreath is to use the Stitched Shapes Dies and use the two largest circles to create a template to adhere the die cut leaves onto.

Card #2

The Stampin’ Up Whisper White Note Cards & Envelopes come 20 in a pack, including envelopes and are a perfect size to drop into a gift bag, add a gift card into or just to save on materials and make multiple cards.  I chose to make these cards simple and clean.  Adding the Holiday Rhinestones to the greenery really gives it that Christmas garland feel.  I also added the red rhinestones to create the holly and berries look.

To get the best idea on how to use the border dies, see the video below.

I chose to put the sentiment on the inside with a fun landscape stamp.

Additional Cards

I added a few more cards that I created on the video here.  As you can see I decided to create a green one and it worked out popping the garland on there.  These cards are so much fun to do.

I hope you enjoyed this sneak peek of the Curvy Celebrations.  The sentiments are curved like the image stamps and dies, which I love.  These fun items will be available on November 3.  You can get them now if you are interested in becoming a demonstrator.  If you are, at the top of the page it says “Join My Team”… take a look and let me know if you have any questions.  I’d love to have you as apart of my team!

Don’t forget our DSP sale!…. and if you purchase 3 I will send you a package of Holiday Rhinestones.  These are a perfect addition to the Curvy Celebration.

REMEMBER:  The Curvy Christmas stamp set is ONLY available in November!  So if you are thinking of purchasing this bundle in January, don’t miss out on the Christmas set.
