Oh I am so excited that all of the new Mini catalog and SAB items are available for you to play with. Today I decided to play with a Slimline card using the Flowering Rainboots, On the Horizon, Slimline Dies, and Swallow dies.
I used the Mother of Pearl specialty paper for the gorgeous tulip tree die cuts. Using the Stampin’ Blends gives it the color that I want. This picture does not do the Mother of Pearl paper justice. It really sparkles.
The tulips and greenery are sized to fit inside the boots with a wider top. I made some adjustments to make it fit in the watering can. I cut the left side of the greenery and flowers and layered them up on top.
Make sure you add some texture for more depth. I added a piece of “wood” along the bottom using the On The Horizon’s wood piece for texture. Using this same stamp created texture on the lattice images. Check out the handle on the garden rake, I also stamped the image on a piece of scrap from the other items and added it to the Silver Foil paper.
