Today I had my first in-home class in a long time. We had so much fun. This is one of the fun cards that we created. I love the Sweet Ice Cream bundle.
You can turn the card into a gift card by just adding a small pocket inside the card.
Tips and Tricks
The scalloped dies on the front page and inside are from the Scalloped Contours dies from the Scalloped Contours Bundle (158356). This bundle is available on May 4. I used the Basic Pattern Decorative Masks with the polka dot stencil to create this fun look. I changed it up with a little different technique on the video.
The Painted Texture embossing folder panel is colored with a blending brush and Pale Papaya ink. The “chocolate mint chip” scoop of ice cream is stamped with the new Soft Succulent In-color ink, stamped off once (2nd generation). Then I stamped the small circle images in Early Espresso to look like chocolate chips.
I added a layer of Pale Papaya on the inside of the card. I also layered a strip on the right side of the polka dots and a thin strip of the Pale Papaya to finish off the accent pieces.
