Aloha and Exciting News

March 2, 2020 Leave a Comment

Aloha everyone. First off I want to share my exciting news! I have decided to re-join Stampin’ Up. It has been fun venturing out with another company and doing affiliate links for many of the large companies, however I miss the fellowship of a direct sales company. The women are amazing and I enjoy being…

Under the Sea

February 5, 2020 3 Comments

Today I played with the Under the Sea die sets from Elizabeth Craft Designs.  This collection is absolutely precious and has a cute sentiment set too.  I first created some gorgeous underwater distress oxide scenes (thanks to Sara Sherlock’s video on Under the Sea blending panel), then I just had to create these cards for…

Love You to Pieces

January 15, 2020 3 Comments

I really had fun creating this Love You to Pieces card from Concord & 9th.  There are so many options and I will show you several.  With the first card, I first cut the die in black for the outline.  This was my template to help me place the letters on a plain white cardstock. …

Vintage Rose Valentine Cards

January 10, 2020 Leave a Comment

The Vintage Rose stamp set is so gorgeous I just had to make some Valentine cards. I used my Misti and stamped all of the flowers at the same time. If you have seen a video with me using my Altenew stamps, you know they are layering stamps. These flowers were 3-4 layers but WOW,…

Happy New Year and Happy Anniversary to us.  New Years Day is our wedding anniversary.  I had to share the cute card I made for my husband.  Both the String of Hearts background stamp and the Peanut Butter sentiment stamp are both from Rubbernecker Stamps.  Rubbernecker Stamps have some of the most unique sentiments and…

You Mocha Me Happy

Coffee!!!  I am not a big coffee drinker, a foo foo coffee now and again, but I LOVE making coffee theme cards.  This card was created with the Altenew Coffee Talks stamp set and a Tim Holtz stencil.  I had a fun time adding Amber Deco Foil to this card, using transfer gel.  This was…

PSL Season is here

August 30, 2019 Leave a Comment

This Pumpkin Spice Latte (PSL) card was so fun to create. The stamp set from Unity Stamps is called Fall to Go, they have some really cute coffee cup stamp sets. Pairing this with the Gina K Glitz Glitter Gel in Sweet Mango really gives it that fall feeling.

Christmas Cookies and Foil

August 28, 2019 Leave a Comment

Last year I saw these Fresh Baked 1 dies from Tim Holtz and just had to have them.  I didn’t get a chance to use them last year so I had to use them this year.  Once I started creating with the foil I thought along with these cookies, it would make a great card.

Shattered Glass Birthday

August 26, 2019 7 Comments

Shattered Glass Foil!  That is what I am so in love with right now.  This is such an easy technique with a laminator.  The previous card I did (You Mocha Me Happy) showed the foil technique using the transfer gel.  Today’s technique is using the Deco Foil, Shattered Glass.  This card is using the negative…

Hi everyone.  I hope you are enjoying the summer.  Here in California it was hot hot hot this weekend.  I decided to spend my time in my craft room this weekend.  This Watercolor Poppy has been in my collection for some time.  This is a simple two stamp set.  I used a dauber and the…
